Never rush your nanny placement process

Need to hire a nanny who can start ASAP?

The nanny hiring process takes time, care, and consideration on both sides, nanny and family. It can't be rushed and shouldn’t be a rational decision. Here at Perfectly Positioned LLC, we are advocating for children and nannies. This process will not be rushed, we want the best for the child(ren) wellbeing as well as the nanny.

- PARENTS: Instead of using ASAP as your job start date, think about the exact date you need the nanny to start working and include that date in your job posting.

Consider that we need time to interview candidates, review resumes, letters of reference, degree verification, and supporting documents like a background check and First Aid/CPR.

Families still need to interview candidates, send in offers, agree on the contract terms with the nanny, and then train the nanny once they start.

This process takes time.

~ NANNIES: Just because you need a job, it doesn't mean you should rush into one you're not 100% sure about. Take your time, and make sure you are comfortable and happy with what you are asking for. Make sure you can meet the needs of what the family is asking for and that your philosophy aligns with the family.
